Gia Rosa Creativity Groups

Creativity Groups are fun gatherings of people with all types of creative interests who want to expand their creative expression.  Creativity Groups are monthly gatherings that serve as an arena for artists and creative thinkers to explore, challenge, stretch and share their creative process.  Julie Rose leads the groups in creativity exercises, visualizations, relaxation techniques, artists’ affirmations, readings and discussions. The groups will also serve as a forum for beginning new work, exploring artistic challenges and sharing works-in-progress.

Whether you consider yourself a seasoned artist or merely creatively curious "Creativity Groups" provides the opportunity for you to to explore and develop your creative initiatives within the context of a fun and supportive group setting.

Creativity Groups provides a supportive, non-judgmental environment with full permission to play and explore. You will expand your creative consciousness, tap into the power of the right brain, strengthen your creative thinking abilities, break through creative blocks (if you have any) and do so within the company of other supportive artists sharing common artistic goals and desires.

The Basic Creativity Group Format

•  Show N Tell: support for current projects and works in progress

•  Business topic: marketing, pricing shows, galleries, online sales, etc.

•  Featured Artist: Film or discussion of a specific artist or technique

•  Creative Process & Play: playful exercises utilizing the featured artist/technique as inspiration and a jumping off point to discover your own creative direction.

Groups are now forming for women, men, and teens.  Children’s groups and camps will begin in the summer of 2009.
